Wintercomfort
Wintercomfort provide year-round support for homeless and vulnerably housed people in Cambridge. We help people to rebuild their lives through a range of advice and support services including opportunities for education and training, housing advice, help to secure work experience and paid employment, digital inclusion programmes, specialist services for women experiencing homelessness and support for non-UK nationals. We provide counselling and therapy for people living with mental health challenges and addiction, and help people to access other healthcare services. We also work extensively to promote social inclusion via a range of activities including sports and fitness, arts and crafts, reading groups, gardening, day trips and excursions.
Alongside this, we provide a drop-in welfare service for rough sleepers every day of the year, with access to hot meals, showers, laundry services and clothing.
